“I can’t believe it. This is it.” Lindsay plopped herself down onto the couch, sitting in a half-assed circle with Damian, Samuel, and Alex. Tonight, they find out who wins it all.
“It’s insane. After ten weeks here, the four of us remain.. I mean, I didn’t expect to be here. I thought I was going home a long, long time ago..” Damian trailed off, shaking his head, as he sat in the infamous egg chair.
“Ditto.” Alex nodded, looking down at the floor. “Hey, Samuel and I are gonna go pack up the rest of our things.. so, we’ll leave you two be.” Sam and Alex went into the Boys Dorm, as Damo and Linds were the only two in the room.
“In a matter of ten weeks, we’ve all become so close. Especially us four. It seems impossible to meet a great group of people, but it can happen.” Lindsay bit her nails, tapping her foot in a slow-motion way. She was scared to death about what would happen tonight.
Damo stood up from the egg chair, as he grabbed Lindsay by the hand, and took her out on the porch.
“Can I talk to you, Linds? It’s.. uh, personal.”
“Yeah, sure.. Of course.”
“I-I thought it was nearly impossible to find love through a reality show.”
“Yeah..?”
“Oh, god.. I’m sorry. I’m horrible at this, but.. uh-“
“Say it!” she blurted out, a little louder than she expected.
“I love you, okay?!” his eyes widened, then he quickly shut them, scared of what Lindsay’s reaction might be. Linds was surprised.. But a few moments after he professed his love for her, she kissed him softly on the lips. It was a very passionate kiss, and it was held out for quite some time. When they let go, Damo was smiling like an idiot.
“Linds, no matter what happens tonight..” Damo started, but was quickly interrupted by Lindsay.
”..In the end, we have each other.”
